Delhi - Monsoon's here!

15 days in advance, the monsoon made its date with the capital today

Its a 108 year record being broken!

With all the freaky weather in may, this was not really unexpected. But who's complaining, we escaped the summer this year!

That's awesome happened this year!!

Just getting a narrow escape from being roasted in temperatures of 45c this time....

It's quite good to hear that it hit 15 days advance but now the road problem is arising with filling of water and all and drainage issues , and last but not least the roads which are really suffering due to construction of METRO(really bad maintaining of those ones having pot holes dividers and other things)

But i am happy ,we don't have to suffer that humid sun now

Yahoo! The only thing which scares me is how our already dilapidated sewage drains and road conditions would handle all this. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the rains, but these heavy rains are scaring me big time.

You need to come to Bangalore and you'll understand why you are still better off.

Too much rain here. But, if you Delhi guys send us something I am glad it is the rain and not the smell.

Here is the front range before the monsoon and at the beginning, looking out my back deck....for those of you that wonder what happens when the water meets the rock. Right now the rock is winning. The mountains are growing one inch per year.

Delhiites enjoy the early monsoon.

Because of this early monsoon, I sent my parents to Delhi Yesterday ( Normally my mom would'nt take the heat this time around)

Hope it becomes a habit with the Rain gods

cheers:
