Now I want Neo Bouncer SM or CP (Silver Machined or Chrome Plated) in 13" for my Zen. I read in this thread about 5.5 not being appropriate for the Zen, so I'm a little wary of that. The only model available in 5j seems to be Breeze, but I'm not too fond of that design. Bouncer looks nice.

How much do those cost and what are the workarounds to those problems? I already have some spacers to raise the car back when we had bigass speedbreakers, but are those going to solve the problems? I mostly ride with only one passenger, but occassionally I need to go out of town wih full load...

Just enquired ... the Bouncer SMs are Rs. 12,500 for 5 pieces or Rs. 10,000 for only 4. The chrome variants are expensive - around Rs. 17,000 onwards for 5.

This guy near my place seems to mainly deal in Plati and League .. does anyone have any comments on these two brands? I saw a really neat Plati 5-spoke SM which I think would look swell on the Zen.

It seems Plati is some Dubai-based brand. Has anyone used any of these before? More info here ... http://www.platinumimpex.com/products5.html

Are u sure these alloys are available for zen...???
the designs you have posted are not available for zen size(12" or 13")
The site also isn't showing any spec details...

Yeah, I was shown these designs only after I told the guy I had a zen. They're on display at Mahim - I think its a Premjis outlet if I'm not mistaken, bang opposite Sitla Devi Mandir... check em out.

By the way, I figured out yesterday that its really okay to buy only 4 wheels, as the fifth stock steel rim as a spare is still usable in case of a flat. I was under the impression that these alloy wheels come with a different fitting mechanism that made the steel rims unusable. So I only need to buy 4 for Rs. 10,000 ! Yaay!

I guess I'll get the Neo Bouncer SMs for 10k (4 pieces). I'm not saving up for the Lancer because I will never be able to save up enough DP even for a cheap 2.55L car like the one at Velocity cars (chakala, andheri) right now. Jun 00 GLXi, 37k km done... just 2.55L asking. If I haggle, I can probably get it down to 2.40L. But I'm sure its in a pretty **** condition so I'm still wondering if I should go and see it.

Maybe later on when I get a raise.
