its only for one month because the vat is going to be introduced after april and the prices will be increased again.

Custom Duty on components has been reduced from 20% to 15%.
Aluminium, reduced, from 15% to 10%
Excise Duty on steel increased from 12% to 16%
Tyres, reduced, from 24% to 16%
Only major beneficiary are the Auto Companies the cost of input is less and inturn its going to increase their profitability.
And i think prices will hike because the Euro III compliance is also going to play an important role.
And again the prices of petrol/diesel are hiked. :(

With the flat import duty down from 105% to a 100%, car prices have also come down. The Corolla for instance by a whopping 35,000 while the Innova is already lower by 14,000. Others are due to follow.

And the actual increase in petrol prices for us Mumbai guys is going to be about 2.5 rupees. If everything goes through...

F-50, Guess with this budget, we'l have more bikes got in dismantled and then assembeled bac here...

2.5 rupees more in mumbai???!!! Woah man, there never is going to be a day when these comes down?? Wish we had lots and lots of pertoleum.... So that we would get at Rs 7/l(Like in kuwait).....

The prices of Honda are gone down. The City will now be 4000rs cheaper and the accord Rs. 8000. Toyota have also cut down prices of the Innova by around 8000rs and the Camry by 32000.

But Skoda not planing to decrease price.. they are saying they will give accessories rather then decrease price as their input costs are increasing

I never said that the prices will hike from the very next day what i meant to say was it might when Euro III starts to kick in.
