Re: The "Jobs available in my organisation" thread

Hi Friends,
I need some advice on Salesforce.com CRM Tool. Basically, I'm in IT for the past 6 years in Mainframe Application development. Currently, I'm observing that the Mainframe opportunities are slowly diminishing these days. Hence I'm thinking of moving into a latest technology and shortlisted Salesforce.com based on the feedback that I got from friends. Now, I'm a bit confused and few questions are eating up my brain like anything. They are,

1. Is it advisable to jump into a new technology when I already spent 6 years
in Mainframes?

2. Is salesfores.com a safer bet considering my situation?

3. What are the current opportunities for SF in IT Service based companies
like TCS,etc.,?

Any kind of inputs regarding my query are much appreciated.
