I'm not for or against the yellow board vehicles but do spare a thought for all those who work shifts and depend on these to reach office / get home.

Came from ITPL to Hebbal via Whitefield Road and the ORR all the way at 6 this evening. Traffic was normal and I saw lots of cabs all the way.

I agree here, this is going to cause a lot of inconvenience to a lot of people and imagine eveyone taking out their individual cars/ scooters after this, expect more chaos tomorrow.

I think bangalore is becoming a "City of Strikes", every year there are about 4-5 strikes, bandh etc etc.

There was a similar strike announced in Pune as well a couple of months ago. Lasted for all of half a day.

As much as I loathe them, it will darned inconvenient for employees working in shifts as well as the logistics department of the company, to arrange alternative transport for so many employees.

There was some talk about this yesterday, but I did not notice any cab / bus not being used. Guess the 'registered' drivers were able to cover up for the 'unregistered' drivers.

Some cabs are going around after either masking their company logo's or taking off the stickers completely.

I think you guys are over-reacting. In Bangalore, bandhs & strikes are way below national average.

I travelled today morning Hennur cross-Nagawara-Hebbal-Yelahanka-Hebbal-Hennur Cross-KR Puram.

Road is full of BPO/IT company indica cars/tempo travellers with their usual practice of zig-zag driving on the roads. I don't think they are on strike.
