Congrats Santosh and Duboy. The GSD is one of the most lovable of all dogs! Most loyal and I am sure you will love him.

My two pet Alsatians at home have just had a litter of Eleven Pups, they look like little tiny furballs. Very cute. 7 male. 4 female.
And I agree with all those who say that the GSD/ Alsatian is probably the most intelligent, most loyal companion to have. I ve had them all my life and wholeheartedly concur with the view that they are the best breed!

We ditched the idea of a Beagle after we heard that they bay a lot at night, and are not particularly obedient when taken out for a walk - they prefer to follow their nose rather than the master's instructions. Thank you Dr. Madhavan - that was quite something. He arranged everything over phone and located a pup in Ooty while we were driving down to Kerala from Bangalore. We got the news and finalized the pup over phone at Dharmapuri, about 100-odd kms from Bangalore, and he arranged for the pup to be brought down from Ooty and have someone meet us on the Coimbatore byepass with the dog by the time we got to CBE.
This is truly incredible, and it can happen only here on Team BHP.
We brought the pup to my parents place yesterday, and by the time we got to Shoranur from Coimbatore (about 1 hr drive) Duboy had already named the dog.

Santhosh, it was really a great pleasure to source the pup for your son. Iam so happy that it made his day! The puppy too is lucky to have found a loving home and a caring family.

Bundle of Love. I have always picked up dogs from the street, never had a "breed" dog.
