For heaven sake, please stop playing politics when such senseless incidents take place!

It is the handiwork of anti-social elements who want to disturb the peace & harmony in this city!

Please guys, lets not get involved in any kind of communal bashing on this forum. Nobody is still sure of who was behind these blasts. At this moment, we should all be concerned with reaching home safe and sound and being thankful that those close to us are safe.
What happened was an act of complete cowardice, and lets hope that those responsible are caught and meted out the speediest justice possible. Take care guys.

No one is more anti-social than our politicians! All I am trying to say here is that we, the common man, is suffering at the hands of these nincompoops!

7 blasts rocked Bangalore in 6 places, I was travelling in Mysore road near bus stand on the way to M G Road when my mother called me and told about it around 2:30pm I immediately took U turn back home. I have declared holiday for today in my office at 2:45pm itself.

SIMI/LET suspected but the way its planned and executed its either political gambling or local issue between different communities according to public. Since there is no evidence to that media and police suspect it should be terrorist activity.

Reason is not important but it should not happen. Very bad and its unfortunate to happen.

Regards,

Ravi.

My goodness! Bangalore again.
All the bombs were some amateur effort it seems as there was no big damage caused except some. It was more in the intention of disrupting peace rather than cause direct physical damage I think.

Guys! Let our good sense prevail and let's not fall into any stupid thoughts. Our minds shouldn't get corrupted with these notorious activities.

Stay indoors as much as possible. Avoid any tensed areas no matter what. Ask for police escort/help if needed.

Most important, let's not use this thread to play a blame game!

We have the ever intelligent IB talking, and as per expected line:

SIMI, LeT may be behind Bangalore blasts: IB
(source: SIMI, LeT may be behind Bangalore blasts: IB -India-The Times of India)

"BANGALORE: The SIMI and LeT may be behind the serial blasts that rocked Bangalore on Friday afternoon, the Intelligence Bureau sources said, adding "they could be retaliatory in nature". The first three blasts took place between 1.30 to 1.45 pm.

Bangalore Police Commissioner Shanker Bidri, while talking to Times Now, confirmed that the explosions appear to be act of the people who wanted to terrorise the capital of Karnataka. He also said that all these bombs were of low-intensity and were triggered by timers.

Soon after the serial explosions, the police ordered closure of all schools, colleges, cinema halls and commercial complexes.

As per the latest reports, the SIMI and LeT operatives have been arrested and they are being interrogated. Another unconfirmed sources also said that HuJi may also be behind this terror attacks. "

MANNNN... when will these people learn to stop pointing fingers and do something about it!!! And who do you think will believe that they have already made arrests??? and add to that that they made a connection with these outfits!

God save us!

Am safe and sound here in office, and just checked with my wife who's working in Electronic City. Plan on leaving late for home.

Thankfully, knowing my wife's landline number at office has been worth it. The mobile networks were jammed anyway.

Hope everyone's safe. Quite a few Germans in my office who are here on a stint are now quite concerned.
