I too saw it. Drove down from a party.

News was something like 7pm dead line or so and that security checks beefed up.

These blasts are confusing - they are not one of those high intensity bombs that terrorists use to kill... these seem to just create a panic, the ones that went off in Banglore and Ahmedabad. Wonder what is happening..!

They seem bent on creating a riot style situation. And also leave it to the media to spice up the numbers. :(

Was roaming around till now, was wondering cops were all over the place today! Heard the news just now. All the theatres have closed down. They are checking everyone at the stadium where a prop expo is going on, hope they evacuate everyone from there.

Almost from everywhere I am getting this news and they say that the deadline is 7PM.

But we still have 30mins and we can take preventive actions.

The trouble is that it is difficult to sort out prank callers from real threats, given time sensitive nature of the threats. Soon all TV channels will be carrying telephoned threats of serial explosions in Kerala, Orissa, Goa, Haryana etc.

If we analyze all these report from the TV channels, one thing is very clear that we need to be very careful around us. I think we cannot depend on the Police or any other support function to guard us. We just need to keep a close watch on our surroundings, if we find any unusual things then report to Police. Now there is a high chance of misleading the Police.

At least now our intelligence department should add some extra octane to there brain and start working
