Teen killed in high speed bike crash.

Vasant Kunj teen killed in high-speed bike crash- Hindustan Times

Read about it yesterday ,apparently he was driving a SBK at high speed when he collided with a truck which was in the wrong lane.
He was with a group of bikers who were going to Jaipur for a drive.
Met this guy once at one of there regular meets/drive and IIRC he had a 08 Busa.

R.I.P buddy.

Very sad but then you should not be speeding in the service lane whatever time it is of the day or night. The truck was laden with 300 lpg cylinders, the result could have been worse.
He was good rider as far as I know, may his soul RIP

It was shocking and sad incident. The pics are really devastating. The body and bike were charred completely after the hit. You can only see two exhausts and a black mass with chain. The truck driver fled from the scene immediately. Two constables called fire department and were able to control the flames before the LPG cylinders catch fire. Otherwise, it would have been a disaster.

R.I.P. Sidd. May god give strength to your family members and friends.

360 LPG cylinders. If the fire had reached them, it could have evolved into a much bigger disaster.

Guys, may his soul rest in piece. I saw the horrifying aftermath on Friday morning as that falls on my route to the kids school.

It is still under major debate if the truck was in the wrong lane - don't believe all that the papers say. The bike was travelling at very high speed & no matter how good a rider he was, it was over in a split second.

I wish we wouldn't see so many young lives being snuffed out like this.

OUR ROADS ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR HIGH SPEED RIDING / DRIVING. THE SOONER WE ACCEPT AND UNDERSTAND THIS FACT THE BETTER.

The accident actually happened in service lane rather than the main highway/road ..... and please do not speculate about the speed he was doing that time, no ones knows that .....

The truck was not in the wrong lane. Happen to know the details thru a friend of his dad. I was told he was riding a 1300cc Yamaha Turbo.

Sad nonetheless. Only child of the parents.

May his soul rest in peace.

I know exactly where it happened - as I said, this is my regular route.

I don't think anyone is speculating anything; there were a couple of cops there (the ones who summoned the Fire brigade immediately & prevented major carnage) who were eyewitnesses to the disaster. "High speed" is what they've said, I don't think anyone would know exactly how much........

You are correct, AFAIK, the truck was crossing over from the Signature Towers side to take a perpendicular turn onto the expressway, heading towards Delhi. That's what I could infer from what I saw at 7 am that morning.

As I said, may his soul rest in peace
