A useful (harthal) website for Kerala/W Bengal

Just stumbled upon this website.
harthal, Hartal, Bandh, Work stoppage of Kerala and West Bengal crippling the daily life and economy - www.harthal.com
has very useful info on harthal schedules etc
this is what i found on harthal schedule
CPI(M) hartal in Ayyappancoil on Aug.6

Education bandh on Aug.5

UDF harthal in Wayanad on Aug.5

Harthal in Shoranur on Aug.2

KVVES Harthal in Kayamkulam on Jul.31

BJP hartal in Malampuzha on Jul.23
.
More useful than kerala motor vehicle website for we motorists.

nice one , useful too. They should keep it a bit more up to date though, including possible harthal speculations

Its a WorldViewer site So the info should be reasonably accurate. This should help visitors to Kerala avoid difficulties

Supported by all the labour wings of the ruling party.

Woohoo! What a great state to be in! A harthal by the ruling party for celebrating the struggle for a high court bench here. Definition of irony that. Not to mention the Congress march soon for how inconsiderate the state government is for the same cause!

And the stupid transportation unions and the shop unions all join in for some good fun and games.

To quote my good neighbour, "What bench? If they want a bench that badly, I'll get one from the govt. school nearby. Why do they have to make us suffer?"

You know what Ernakulam? You can take stupid capitol title. We get none of the advantages and all of the disadvantages for it. Your traffic doesn't move anyway, so a few dharnas and jaadhas right on MG Road ain't gonna hurt any more.

*walks off grumbling and mumbling*
