Small dents and problems that do not have an operational impact on the car; And that you know will not damage or deteriorate the condition of the car – Accumulate such problems for the next service. Else get it done immediately.

No Offence but this doesnt fit here. It hardly takes any time to get this fixed & if your dad could in one day so would have you.
Techno. It was hardly a matter of 30 min job or so. Not that I was not bothered to get it fixed, but I always felt a small dent or anything like that would keep the so called "drishtis" away...

For us,
important parts, like engine/suspension damage are repaired ASAP.
However, for body damage, it depends on the car. The more expensive cars like the Merc need to be repaired immediately as a dented Merc looks horrible.
Cars like the Fiesta and Skoda can live with small dents. The Skoda has a scratch, bang in the center of the rear bumper but it's liveable.
The fiesta has a few scratches and one dent but then again, it's nothing major.
Generally, in such cases, we let the small dents and all be there and if there is any other damage that could use considerable repairs (like it the trunk and bumper got dented and there is a problem operating the trunk because of that), we get the whole car done up, that is, all the small dents and scratches as well. It makes no sense getting the smaller cars repaired on each scratch as it is simply impractical when you depend on the car everyday as it is a waste of time and money.

Re: So what is your Reason for not fixing your car?

Have a whine while accelarating my car with the RPM increases normally and car is struggling to move forward, potentially an issue of a slipping clutch.

Have not got it fixed yet as it is another 1k for my normal service due and gives a high when the car accelarates and gains traction (like a turbo boost- whoosh) in 1 and 2 gear (gives a high but thats just on the lighter side).

Hope this does not cause any other issue till the servicing is done.
