Why does the customer Service suck in INDIA??

The small-medium business e.g shops are fine with their services. It’s the big ones that have been giving me headaches since I arrived in Chennai.

First issue: AIRTEL SUCKS!

I wanted to setup a broadband connection and called up the airtel office. They promptly sent a sales representative the next day itself. After paying 500Rupees and installation charges, They said they would contact me in 2 days for verification. No one did.

When I called the sales guy he said the connection can’t be given to the area I am putting up with so they will refund me the cash by cheque sent through courier.

And it has been 3 weeks now and I had to call up the sales guy everyday and screw him for the cheque and he keeps saying it has already been sent. I called up the call centre and the idiots forward the call to the same sales guy.

How dumb can they get?? I would have never come across such a pathetic service in my country. Just when I am getting pissed all over this mater some thing else happens…

Second Issue: Sankara Nethralaya Eye hospital at College Road, Chennai.

I had made an appointment to consult with a cornea specialist on the 7th of August 2008, at 5.55 pm in the evening.

When I turned up for my appointment I was utterly shocked when the receptionist at the registration counter told me that was no doctors available as they have gone on urgent leave. And she was not even apologetic about this incident.

This is totally preposterous as I should have been called up and informed about such turn of events. Due to this event I had to waste R80 INR for my transport.

I am disappointed that a hospital with a reputation as theirs has such a pathetic customer service. These ******* need to be slapped naked in the streets.

I wonder what more crap is gonna happen over the next 3months I am here…grrrrrrrrrrr

Its the same every where, with very few exceptions .
I was in a Featherlite showroom last week and the sale guy was like why I was here kind off attitude . He was least interested to answer my queries nor made an attempt to sell his stuff .With this attitude ,do know how is he employed .

The attitude I have seen is , take it or leave it . They don't know they are only affected .

Can't help , adjust madi . You cant go on changing every one . Only thing you can do is , change yourself .

BSNL Dataone s*cks more !! for the first 4 months I was getting charged for rental of the modem though I had bought it. It used to take nearly about an hour each time I go to pay the bill.

I agree with what you have to say but is the Rs:80/- more important than the time that you wasted?

Which is 'your' country? India or Singapore?
