Ya mobike it was almost 6:20pm, i have other snap clicked in night mode which is too brighter.then clicked one more in auto mode which is a bit on darker side.still learning..

Hmm, even the other didn't come out so well. Too much noise around the borders of the sun.

Thanks prajeep.....the first pic was taken on the way to nainital and the second one was taken from a view point in nainital.

Samurai san, i have seen these type of shots telecasted on NDTV good times channel. it was actually this way a nikon dslr ( don't know the model though) fixed to a telescope and the camera connected to the laptop via some cables.the person was indeed clicking the pics of the moon and viewing the same on his laptop. ( correct me if i am wrong)..

@Mansidea, great shot. Where is the location and time in morning? Also, was it altered by PP or original image?

Thanks mobike008. This is shot from the 15th floor balcony in Thrissur @ 6.30 am. I used a wide angle lens & did a bit of tone correction in picassa. (1/200s, f/9.0, ISO 100)
