Recently I have been envying Louis for all the Cochin sunset shots, and all I had around here was dark clouds.

But, things are changing. Two days back I noticed that the clouds had cleared up and western ghats were visible. So, I took the E3 to office for some snaps. By the time I got around to it, the clouds had covered the ghats. But I was feasted with the blue skies. The hill on the left is end-point.

Later at evening, I suddenly noticed a strange quality about the sunlight right from inside the office. So I rushed out to see this strange light, trust me this is no PP effect. This is exactly how it looked.

After the sunset, it looked like this. Never seen it like this.

I also shot the GV in this strange light, I'll post that in auto-image thread.

You!? envying me? thats rich. the sunsets in Dakshina Kannada District are way prettier than anything cochin can make. especially sept, oct and november. I used give 1st show movies a pass so that I could stay outdoors and watch the sky.

We've been getting that glowing yellow orange light here too for the past 3-4 days. Ozone? I'm waiting for the explanation.

Well, Sept just started didn't it? Between June-August, the sky is really dull.

Not on the roof, I shot from balcony. There is not way I would go on the roof when such a lightning storm is on!
Anyways, here is a slightly underexposed version of the same shot
