I've been trying to generate an HDR using photomatix and I have a problem. The photo generated has a severe red tone to it!

what is wrong?

@anekho: What kind of images you had initially? RAW or Jpeg? Pls Explain the technique you used right from the shoot....

3 differently exposed raw images.

Opened Photomatix - Clicked generate HDR image - selected the 3 raw images - kept all the default settings in 'Generate HDR - options'

the image turns out like this:

Which method? Tone compressor or details enhancer? Try different options...
The output you got looks strange. And the sky still looks blown even in Hdr...

using the enhancer... but tried fiddling with the detail enhancer as well. Nothing get's rid of the red tone :(

I guess you have spaced out the exposures too much between the shots. For a good looking HDR, take 3 or 4 shots with exposures spaced out by one f stop. Basically, all shots would look somewhat properly exposed. If you have shots whose exposure values differ too much, then you'll have a bad looking Hdr. Finally, if your HDR picture has some color cast, why don't you try the tone mapping curves in PS to eliminate them.

I think the color temparature has to be tweaked.Was it given a try?

Its a nice spot for a portrait. Someone can sit on that bench and you can click the portrait from a little more distance with a 70-200mm lens. It would look cool. B/w processing will add to the beauty.

yep, tried and it still retains that red tint... :(

Good ones, I've never been successful getting a water droplet shot...

A funny shot from my side, taken while I was trying to photograph my 2 month old daughter, wife just grabbed her feet and asked me to click! (I had to click - you know ;-)) Done some PP on the 16 bit tiff, then converted to jpeg and added glow in Picasa.

Did you take a screenshot, or is this the final jpg after tone mapping?. If its the former, its expected, only after tone mapping you will get the results.
