Is this about that old lady's shot? And are you talking about the soft glow on both the sides? You should correct it TG and asap.

I've never said that you're making an excuse. But as you convert image to a monotone and add contrast and all.. issue like this gets even more pronounced. So you need to correct that.

By the way, I prefer the original one here.

I was actually referring to the perspective. The pics look better when we get to their level.

the first two are as big as the palm of your hand the last two ones are smaller and maybe about half the size.

hmm the lens is of Leica , but they are standard on my Panasonic DMC FZ18 and i cant change them !

It took me about 30 mins of sitting really still and inching forward to get these shots . @ TG i got that from you - thnx. By the time i left i had about four of these fellows around me.

This one is from the bigger more colorful crab
The Official non-auto Image thread-p1050247-medium.jpg

This is the smaller more timid one, also very agile , this is not very clear i guess.

reminded me of some old movies involving aliens

Boss I was referring to bird shots, not crabs . Crabs don't fly you know.

@ Hellstar.

Those are really good shots.

Regards,

Anirban.

I had clicked a few snaps in RAW on a recent trip to Leh. Is this amount of Pseudo HDR fine? I have not understood the tone mapping properly yet, but I want to the realize what the end product should be, before i work for it. The save for web option that i selected seems to have made it a little grainy. Camels at Hundar, Nubra Valley.

@TG: Superb details on that Flamingo shot. I wonder how could you achieve that sharpness!!

One kid photo from my side. You can actually see me in his eyes, sitting down and clicking. At least the white dhoti!! Yeah it was inside a temple premises.
