The pictures are soft. The woodpecker could have been sharper and if you had blurred the background it would have been nice.

Why are the Goats washed out? Over exposure? Did you meter the dark foliage in the background?

Here's one that I clicked on a footpath, on SX1IS.. completely un-edited pic ( except for a bit of cropping and resizing ) as of now. My Photoshop is not working

Thanks Anekho, it 1/80, F/3.5 and ISO100 using E-3 with 50-200mm at 200mm.
