TG, it looks like the clouds are falling down into the top of the waterfall and flowing down as water... good one!!

Just my thoughts.

I notice that all your portraits have a major flat light issue. Try to get some shadows in to accentuate the contours of the face...try side on light...this will give the face depth and dimention...and more interesting to look at!

I love black and white...in black and white, the composition has to be that much stronger ans thats what draws me towards it!

Aye aye I hear you Sire. Lemme know what are you looking for coz it was a RAW image converted to jpeg and then posted here. Image size is close to 8MB in jpeg format.

TG, you are very right. In fact I realized it now when I looked at my image again.

I have a question though - many a times you can see pros shooting portraits and all, they light up the face from both directions in order to have a uniform lighting and in that case, the contours of the face are actually not so pronounced. Why is so?

Much better than the older one. There is no distraction in the shot. The angle rocks, and B&W conversion is also excellent!

Tanveer: great shots, how do you meter these? Mind sharing the exif of the first one, like the aperture ISO and all?

Hi Clevermax, Its hit and trial. If there is some moonlight usually 800-900s is enough, otherwise you need to hit 1500s range.
All the above shots were at ISO 200 with F4.5
Exposure duration is already listed.
I use wider aperture so that the stars come out bright.
Since stars are moving, if I use F8 or something, even with very long exposure, the trails will be less bright.

However, the pictures are nice. Post details as well like Camera, lens and Exif info.
