Nice shot of the watch... How did you light it up? used anything to diffuse the light?

clevermax, it's very simple lighting here. One Elinchrome 500 watt/sec flash head with 65 cm Elinchrome Portalite softbox.
Cokin linear polarizer P 160 was used to cut out unwanted light on the glass. 100mm macro at f25.

* Tweaked the colors a bit in Picasa

Close to 1am, its going towards the peak!
It was supposed to peak around 1:30, but I did not stick around.
This was good enough.,
Looking forward to a more complete lunar eclipse sometime in the future

first one is upper yosemite falls taken from a meadow.
second one is the legendary yosemite valley as seen from Tunnel View.

Wonderful shorts of the Lunar on eclipse day. Really you enjoyed both the new year as well as Eclipse. We are lucky to enjoy both on post eclipse and post new year by your pictures.
