The parrot pic is awesome, though a bit hazy but capturing at the moment is crucial.

Here are some of mine; I dont have a DSLR but i am proud of my Canon powershot A710 IS

This has been my closest interaction with wild animals.

@Scorcher
Thanks. Well, he just returned from a flight and appeared with his baby for the shoot. So you are right in every sense of the word. They were a lovely pair.

Well, that shot is just the autofocus at work. It's not something that is tough, its really easy infact, just a half push of the trigger and its done.

What a modest reply!

TG, with so many autofocus points of D3s, would it not be difficult to focus for you.

Pentax 6X7 is one hell of a machine Sharath. You should be able to source 120/220 films from Naresh. If he's specifically looking for B&W then probably we need to put in an order. For processing, I've no clue as who can help.

I never said that. I said I've no idea. What I meant is I don't know who's doing it commercially. Post a good processing comes printing. That art is terribly missing these days.

One of my friend is doing it for his own work. I'll check with him.

If Black and White, why not do it yourself? I almost always used to do it myself long back. The small tank for processing which was suitable for 35mm and 120 may still be available. And the studio folks just used a vessel containing the chemicals and their bare hands till few years back.

Sure thing but only if he has the inclination.

Meditating Eagle

Spotted this eagle with yellow nose & yellow talons perched on a branch in Gurgaon sometime in February while driving for work. Realised the limitation of my 70~300VR. Longed for a bigger lens.

Can anybody help me in identifying this eagle?
