They look like plastic apples, so shiny!

@TG: Yes, those photographs will be appreciated much when the viewers know that the photographer has gone over the edge to click that.

Even i think so they use some kind of wax to make them look so shiny. In addition to that, this was taken around 8pm in the night under incandescent street lighting.
