Amazing details ! I was thinking it would be a dedicated macro lens, but I am wrong.

Please preserve the exif data as majority of us are learners here. Right click on the image >> properties should give you all the necessary data. I am curious to know if it was shot on the macro mode.

Thanks Nimble for the details. You must have a very steady hand to click such sharp images if not with tripod or other supports .

When you do tilt-shift during PP, you have to try to simulate the big lens effect as is, or in other words, try to simulate the shallow DOF in photos of larger objects at a distance that makes you think that they are tiny.

In your photo, the blur is not consistent. The third floor of the building and couple of cars in the ground below seem to be in focus while other cars next to it are out of focus. The blurring has to be done so selectively that one gets an idea where the 'virtual' focus was.

I used photoshop and created at least 4 to 5 'lens blur'ed layers of different intensity and applied layer masks selectively to simulate this. Yet there are flaws.

@jacs : I did not use/have a tripod. All I did was to keep the camra on the ground (grasshoppers level) and carefully clicked the snap without shaking the camera. I did not have time for the self-timer thing.

BTW your snap of the field is so "neat".Simply amazing !

@clevermax: Thank you for the suggestions.I will try your suggestions to the best of my ability.

Jac, thats a lovely place, reminded me of my farmville field few months back . I am no more into virtual farming. I assume its taken around noon, next time you should try the early morning or late evening light there, I am sure it should be exciting !

Bit of working on PS, hope you like it

Thanks Nimble. Keep clicking, you seems to have a good potential in this field. Did you attend Canon Edge program?

Yes Shaju, it looks like a painting than a photograph. You are right, it was taken around noon. I think it will be misty in the morning, let me try during my next visit.

Thanks for the PS job, it looks more live now. Do reserve 30minutes for giving me some gyan on post processing when we meet .

One more experiment with night photography.

Yes Shaju. My weekdays doesn't have room for a day light photography now but definitely try to find time in the morning.

One day light click. Critics welcome, I felt lack of sharpness!

Not sure, this is near Munnar though. These are shots from an OTR event (Offroading in God’s Own Country: The Munnar MGE & JT Event).
