You want to see a real moon shot? See this: http://www.pbase.com/olyinaz/image/9...7/original.jpg

Only linking here since it is not my shot. It was taken using Olympus E3 + Orion 714mm f/7 telescope and the Olympus EC-14.

@chevylover the saturation is bit high IMHO.

These pics were shot from atop Machala hill, over three kilometres away!

@Pawan, thanks. I have a Sony A200. I am using Kit lens 18 - 70.
@Amit - In all pics or any one particular pic? I am still a newbie!
@Deep Blue, thanks buddy!

Thanks. Something has gone wrong with your processing. I am sure original colors are different. Curious to know what software is used for PP.

Your night shots are just awesome, I have seen them in some of your travelogues too. Perfect.

Went to the terrace for a sunset possibility but ended up with a portrait

The night shots are very good , In previous set I think during post processing saturation was quite high specially in the bird pic.

@Amit, Mukul, Chevy Lover, Shaju, Dry Ice, Pawan : Great pics! Kudos!

Guys, please tell me what you think about this one. Personally it was a very difficult shot.
Canon EOS 450D, 50mm 1.8 coupled with a Digital Optics Macro conversion kit. The kit is very difficult to focus. Has a very thin threadline to focus on. Tried around 40 shots to get this one. Colour corrected in PS CS5.

Preetam, it looks like a painted canvas I liked the colors merging each other.

I found many in the 'attending' category, so I decided to sit back and learn from their work.

Nice set, specially the last one. (Udaipur lake palace, i guess). A big from me.

Shot from 3 kilometers away? Can you share the EXIF details?

I like the dreamy/painting feel it has to it, because of the soft focus. But in my humble opinion, eyes needed to be bit sharper. (I know how hard it is to focus with the kit! Stationary subjects are a struggle, let alone moving ones!)

Was this shot with/ without flash?

But I only saw Rudra's entry other than mine. If other BHPians have posted, do let me know the position of the photo.

Oh I forgot 18th was the last date to upload. What happened to others ? I was expecting Preetam, Riju, Binu etc. to be part of it. I think Preetam forgot about it after he got his portrait model
