Only thing I don't like in this picture is the distracting black and white border and the full caps watermark
Thanks for the feedback, I would try to get rid of the negatives you pointed out.

Chethan who posts here is not this, although he was with me in this class It was a career counselling session given for students, I was invited to shoot as a voluntary thing, Amit and Chethan gave me company.

I agree with what a bit of PP can do on an image. Exploring the potential of PP these days. It would have been easier if you were here to guide.

My friend Amit who is helping with the video coverage of the after-session (mentioned above). I loved the natural lighting on his face reflected from the orange wall in front of him.

Correction, the Sunset pic at Veli was shot by Clvrmax's wife.
Madbiker - Is it a HDR or a pseudo HDR? Nice one btw.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

Finally the day has come to travel for Kambala Festival. Taking a train within 4 hours to Puttur. My Sunday will be with buffaloes and the men who control them. If any team-bhpians happen to be in Puttur tomorrow, spot me with a heavy gear. Amit is giving company ! One human portrait before I get into the animal faces

Mouse attack

Took this snap while in office this Friday. Love these colourful mice.

Art is something which is as unique as each one of us. Be it music or art or photography, people try to copy others.try to do what others do. Ofcourse inspiration is needed. But dont make that inspiration run into pure copy paste. Make up your own style. Try to satisfy yourself. Not for the sake of others.

Good advice, but I find only copying in the learning stage. We learn a lot of techniques by exactly copying what others do regardless of the field. Here is what I copied from your present image but sadly it was done back in December 2010 http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/shifti...ml#post2174087

Sad news: We reach Puttur to find the buffaloes have gone on strike. We spoke to some of the contestant buffaloes, they said they wont make any runs until 6th March 2011. They blamed it on the regional agri meet that is happening somewhere around. Poor animals. Anyway, we headed towards Mangalore and explored the beaches. Nutty, Pramod, JK, Clever, you have company

Eagles eye on the safety !
The Official non-auto Image thread-04.jpg
Funny thing behind this, we saw 8 people pushing this jeep in the beach sand to get it started, we were thinking what if it was an emergency !
