You could be right, frankly even I don't know how it happened. I shot at 400mm EFL from 10 feet away.

AFAIK,
the coconut appears to be popped out because, the plane of the coconunt and the plane of the background are at a different elevation, the coconut and its plane were in the focussing region, and while the background isnt.

P.S. I appologise, as i dont know the terminology used in photography, but I think I made my point clear.

hey guys some opinions on this:


didnt do any photoshopping, just reduced the picture size.

took the pic in the automode with macro ON.
camera used: Fuji FInepix S5100.

@ Stratos : The uncropped version look better. If you can do the slight editing work you did on cropped version to uncropped version, it would be even more better.


@Samurai : No this image is not looking 3 D to me.

@kkr2k2 : Good pic. Green colour looks quite vibrant.

Hey Kpzen , does the W810i has AutoFocus ? I remember my friend's W700i doesn't have it.

Why is the lower part of the pic out of focus and upper past in focus ?

Yes, it does have AF.

Yes, DOF and it is just closer than the minimum focus distance.
Btw, if W810 can take such beautiful picures, I think I should junk my DSLR.
