Staying with flowers, here is one from my side. Unknown red flower as posted on my Flickr stream. This has been shot with a 70-300 mm non VR, G Nikkor lens. Unknown species of flower.

Flower photography is not my interest. Here it is start of spring in Europe, and these flowers (posted by me) are everywhere on each landscape, looks very beautiful.

Another cameo by me for this week

. I was at a Japanese street festival over the weekend and what bowled me were the number of people who are seriously into anime. It was real nice to see a lot of people dressed up as their favorite characters. Here are some, sadly I forgot the characters they represent. Anyway, hope you enjoy these pictures.

And oh, all of these were shot with a G1 + Nikon Ai 100mm f2.5 (MF). This lens is very very sharp as seen in the photographs!

Got a chance to test 50mm f/1.4 in street lights last night. One from that !
I call him "The Bokeh Dog" ! (Brigade road on a Sunday evening). Its a stray dog, so dont expect him to be boootiful !!
