ditto, it would have made the portrait complete. I liked the b/w conversion, gives a very nice feel to the image.

I guess the photographer community is very closely knit, you'd bump into familiar names on most forums. You're right about my disappearance from BPC, have been inert for a while there.

Some shots taken early morning today. Liked the rays through the monument in the third picture. Got the chance to capture an Indian version of the cross as well

Wow, so many lovely pictures lately!
I've been off for a while from this thread and haven't touched my DSLR for months now. :(

Here'a picture taken last week while I was waiting for the morning train. Taken with my Phone.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

Hello my fellow TBHPians,

It's been a long time that I have posted here! Just went through the images, and must say...some awesome stuff coming from everyone. Keep it going!

So I have been upto something using my landscape photography ideas and compositional ideas to create something far bigger than what I have ever attempted to do. It was 4 months of sheer hard work. I am posting the finished output. So please check it out guys.

And this is the other project where I have done the direction of photography and cinematography, along with supervising the post production process of compositing the CG elements into the actual footage. You are all welcome to check it out.

So now I am back

Regards,
TG.

Yep, the photographer community is pretty closely knit, you'll find the same people on various forums.

Liked both, but the second one has a nice feel to it. I am still struggling with HDR. I have shots of him in portrait mode, but not that good. I will return to that area again, will get better photographs next time around.

Welcome back TG, we missed you. And yes, saw those videos last week, wonderful work I must admit. Way to go!

I am trying to make it to the weekend meetups here in DC and one such meetup was on saturday where we went to a place called Brookside Gardens. As it was raining, the place was even better. Two photographs from there:

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

@kaushik - I found the second shot mind blowing.
@clevermax - for a photograph shot with a mobile phone, that is an amazing shot.
@veeresh - second shot is rocking dude. First one I felt that there was something wrong with the focus. It also could be due to the compression. But good composition there.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

Thanks, typeONegative, Hellwrath and NavinBhp.
@Navin, lovely photographs. Loved both of them.
@Hellwrath, liked the 2nd shot. The problem with the 1st one is the blown out highlight/white patch on top IMHO.
