Here is another desperate attempt, I am not getting better in PP, somehow it does not look like my cup of tea. So those who wanted to hire me, please make sure of a processing post.

Hi Shaju,

This one is really nice, the mood of monsoon is visible

These shots were from Karanji lake in Wayanad. Dont have any more bird shots from there. This lake was covered by Violet Water-lillies and we had to make our own way on boat. Here's one of my favorites.

Yes, I agree. The foreground distracts viewer's attention. The shot was taken from a roadside and the beach was just too far away.

Nice one Shaju; even the other one; but is it just me again? Too much blue?

Those who love pix, IMHO, should get an iPad atleast.

Guys, how are these for the phone camera?
I know the sky looks a little washed out. But your comments are most welcome.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

Spotted this little bird (Spotter Owlet) in my backyard,
I wish the bird had moved to a different branch for a better photograph. Waited for 30min but the bird had no plans to move.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

shaju with the D700 looks like the colors have all gone crazy. The blue looks out of place my friend.Check the color calibration on your LCD/CRT that you use.

Beautiful pictures!!
Looks like you were really close to the bird, or did you use 600mm or 800mm to shoot it?
