Nice. Goes to show what the 50mm is capable of . One of my favorite flower shots ever also has been shot with a 50mm.

These are taken with the G1 and are straight out of the camera (Jpegs. They were shot in B/W).

Hint: These lenses may be one of the lightest/smallest lenses ever made.
Zuikos??

It is indeed a great time to! By the way, I really like this shot you have taken, I like the composition of the lines. I see some rule of the thirds too!

Thanks. I wanted to give that a shot, but didn't want to get into the water as it was pretty cold. That's one problem with fall/winter :(.
Well, all good things last short, thats why they appear so beautiful and sweet.

Nope, it's actually the Pentax Auto 110 system. Check it out. The lens used was 18mm f2.8 .

Not sure if I have uploaded this before. Shot with a G1 and Kiron 105mm macro.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

These chocolates were awesome. Before eating them I took some photos of their beautiful golden wrapping.

This is the only photo that turned out alright.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

Took few test shots with Canon 1100D. This humble camera is serious about its low light performance!

1/15s, f/5.6, 49mm and ISO3200! No processing done except color correction. No NR done in PP.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

Glad to see some 'oldies' coming back to full action here TG, HW, Clever....I am wondering how inactive this thread was few months back !!

Found a painting effect on CS4 by mistake and I found it appealing to my eyes ! HW, you remember this ? This is from one of our meets, had to clean up the area a bit

Shaju,
What's the effect called? Curious to try it out. And I am sorry, I know this is Lalbagh, but don't quite re-collect which walk this was :(.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

Awesome Chevelle. Do you have a slightly wider version (on the top and bottom edges)?

Thank you. But no sir, this is the original version, only re-sized to upload here.

i have some more pics but those are only half rainbow which may be wider. pm me your email id in case you want them.

P.S: There were two rainbows. You can see traces of second one at the right-left edges.
