Very nice pics sandsun7, I just loved the clarity and bokeh in the bird snaps, especially the 2nd and 3rd. The kind one would see had you used a high end telephoto prime or zoom.

Nice work sandsun. 55-250 is a real gem but credit goes to you for the composition and getting so close to those birds.

Does D800 assist you with MF? I mean does it highlight any of the focus points when it comes in focus while you manually rotate the focus ring in the lens?

You should have called me, I slept almost 6 hrs during the day (with a lunch break in between)

From the images it looks like, first one you were fresh and energetic, 2nd one you are already feeling sleepy and 3rd image you are in deep sleep with the shutter button pressed

Oh, I didn't know that. Haven't seen you online for a while now, even I haven't logged in :(. But, this was early in the morning (read 6 am), it was good fun.

Ha ha, you figured well about my state. I was exhausted by the end of it, thankfully the kit was not a pain to carry around.
