Shaju, it was awesome meeting you. One of the few people with whom I enjoyed shooting. And trust me guys, this guy can spot spiders and dragonflies! I came home and hit the bed and got up only now. Will go have lunch, come back, edit and post my pictures here. Both pictures have come out really well. Awesome job. Yep, let me know when we shall meet again.

Till then, here are two pictures that I got from saturday photo shoot at Avenue road. This kid has to tow this cart and transport the water cans, only then can he eat. I told him that he should go to school and not work, he replied saying, I do go to school after supplying the water cans. Hmm, didn't know what I am supposed to say. I do not support child labour but may be he needs to work for his everyday food, shelter etc. Wished him all the best and moved on.

HW, thanks for the nice words, I guessed you might have rested after reaching home, today being a holiday. Shall we meet at lalbagh this saturday 20th ?

That picture just made me breathless. Its sad to see such situations, but its far beyond our ability to do something, as similar kids in bangalore alone are above 1000 according to my friend who is a full-time NGO social worker. I feel those pics deserve a wider appreciation and even a higher recognition for what you are doing with your cam.

Here is another two from our morning hours !

@TG, pls change your handle !

Ravi, Shaju : lovely pics, but over-exposed in areas. Eg : the Church at night, and the mornings pics.

Condor, thanks for the comment, it really helps. I wouldnt say that was purposely overexposed, fact is, I am still learning to use the photoshop. I need to learn how to select portions to control the exposure variations. Thanks again.

Shaju: I'll confirm about 20th by this friday.

Ok, so here is the first cut of the photographs shot at Hebbal lake today. The theme for me was mainly sunrise and macro. So, I hope these three photographs do justice to my intent . C&C please. I know these three also belong to the current theme, let me post the best ones there .

TG,
Don't do any changes. With the wave behind her, she looks good as she is.
Amongst others, your B&W seagulls are awesome.

Ok, get ready to see a lot of dragon/damsel flies (pardon my ignorance as I am not aware of the id nor the method to identify different genders). All of these were shot today at Hebbal lake. Also, adding three non-dragon photographs. Last one is ortonized .
