@Hellwrath
I really like the shape in the second image. I have no reason as to why I like it! I just like it!

@Hw, I also liked the second image. But what is it?
@Pramod: that's a super macro!! more than 1:1 magnification! BTW,did you kill the fly for that?
@preetam: The blur on the reflections on water is a PP right?

It's a beetle. I spotted it by chance on a flower and it was pretty inactive or rather very slow. After I tried all my experiments on it, it suddenly became active and flew away!

@Pramod: Same question as clevermax, how did u get so close?

Preetam, is it the howrah bridge at the right side of the frame? Nice panaroma.

I'll upload some action shots later in the night which I got from the TVS motocross yesterday.

Thanks for the tip, I tried the roof, but images were too dark to my taste. Side bouncing gives a magical effect to most experiments. It may depend on the position of the subject (in my case subject was on the floor). Ceiling bouncing might be the best if subject is positioned at or above half height of the room. Again, as I said, its part of my experiments which will continue until I get an idea about subject positioning, power and direction of the bounce etc.

Bandhav, your images have some kind of life throughout, I like the composition a lot. The 'steps' (with the red light on top) is my best pick so far. Keep it up !

Ok, so for all the folks who want to know what the beetle looked like, here's a better photograph. Kindly pardon the shoddy pp (read as too lazy to clone out the red line!) . Also, adding a couple of more shots that I got yesterday from Hebbal.
