I think it's a farm vehicle that needs to clear fully grown crops under it. In india it might have a complete lane of two, three and even some four whelers under it .

not sure how it's driven though.

This is at Neendakara; lake meets the sea. One side you have early bird small time fisherman in his 'thoni' at the lake and on the other side of the bridge; deep sea trawlers. Just cropped pix.

Do comment; I am a beginner. Every comment helps.
Loved the second picture. If you look closely, you can see the concept of balance in the image (the sun and the fishermen). You can read up more on balance and bring it in your photographs.

I was at Asian Grand Prix 2010 (which by the way is an athletics meet) and managed to do some sports photography. Still gotta process a lot, but here's one for now. He's Jai Prakash Shetty (Karnataka) silver medallist in the 200m Indian Grand Prix 2010 event.

Clevermax,

Here's the exif:

Camera: Canon EOS 350D Digital
Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/2000)
Aperture: f/4.0
Focal Length: 50 mm
Exposure Bias: -1/3 EV
ISO Speed: 100

Have tried a lot of panning shots which will be up as and when I process them .

By the way, I like your shot. 70-210 in action, eh? If I were you, I'd probably take an air gun and put a hole right next to trigger..and then shoot. I'd like that as an abstract! .
