Some pics from recent trip to San Francisco. Not the best weather to click pics, but still gave it a shot.

Thanks for the tips bhp_maniac. And that photo is lovely too. My contention is that no matter what one does, the photograph will never show up perfect details as the image is magnified. I use spot metering, though I am yet to get a tripod.

In any case, I see the moon mostly as ornamentation and feel that there are others more worthy of me take those lovely detailed shots. Though technically speaking, the technique of getting there is certainly intriguing. Which is why, once again, thank you for your tips.

Very nice colors on the first one and you caught the rain well. Looks slightly tilted but the more I looked at it, the more it was likable the way it is!

@Anachronix, DoF is very good and there is a lovely warm feeling to the photgraph, but the right low foreground is a bit distracting.

@ typeOnegative - Thanks a ton bro. WISCHVUANAUDH is the expanded version of viswanath. Overkill ?

@vishwanath: Phew!
@clevermax. Nice but for the fact that there is a slight flaring over the rocks, and that it is not warm enough.

P.S. How does one get rid of flares without photoshopping?

@ typeOnegative - You can use polarized lens filter to take off those lens flares. Otherwise, if your camera is having a 'Live-View' function, to an extend you can reduce the glares by changing the camera angle.. (that works only if you can see the screen under bright lighting)

I am not really sure if there are any softwares that can take away the lens glare except for PS..
