Where was this picture taken and in which month. Is it a normal occurence there or one would be lucky to experience this sight in real.
The place is Schynige Platte near Interlaken Switzerland, the photo is taken from the railway station. It is not the normal occurrence, the day we had visited was partly cloudly, so the mountains were partly visible behind the clouds.

A couple of Sun set shots in front of the Hotel Crowne Plaza, Rohini, Delhi.

@Klub Class: That is a cute picture. Did you feed the monkey anything prior? I found that photographing monkeys is possible from a reasonably close range as long as you don't trouble them.

Thank you typeOnegative.

Though the monkey was on the top of a Tempo Traveler parked in front of our car, I photographed it by sitting inside the car, with all the windows rolled up! YES, I'm very much afraid of monkeys.

I do agree with your observation. The monkeys won't make any trouble unless you don't give them the food items that you're carrying.

Beautiful flower shot. That mosquito shouldn't be there.

@Gandhi, Nice shot of the flower.
At first glance it looked like a 3D image to me :-), it's so sharp

Thanks sushrutha. It came out better than I expected. This was taken at 300mm hand-held.

Long exposure shot of aircraft during the final approach. I like the surreal feeling. Changi Beach, Singapore

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

@tsk
I liked the 1st and the 3rd the most.
@Evo8
Nice shot, I prefer it without the outlining border. Reason being that your main point of interest is the moving aeroplane and that is very bright and the border adds further bright spots all around your picture, kinda distracting my attention as a viewer. Borders and stuff, well i personally dont like them, but if it suits your taste, try and make them go with the composition, by being subtle and not gain more importance than the photograph itself...just my 2 cents.

Another one from the streets of San Francisco.

This one is not a photograph, it's a completely computer generated 3D Landscape...I thought of posting it because I have borrowed strong cues from Landscape compositions to compose this frame. In fact it is a photograph from a virtual camera, I would say.

@tg, thanks for the comments.. Yep, the border actually took away the essence in this pic and I was not convinced adding a border, just a practice with my post process workflow !!
