I intended to do some birding but didn't really get a chance. It gets a bit difficult to find time when you're running with a packed schedule.

There was a flock of bar headed geese at Tso Moriri which was interesting but they decided to swim further out or fly away each time I tried to approach. Other than that I didn't really go looking for the feathered kinds.

I think you could still get a deeper blue and contrasting clouds with the CPL...

This is my most dreaded click ever Male hunter spider portrait..! (These ones are around 10cm diameter)

Sony A35 + Minolta AF 70-210mm f/4 + DCR 250
1/50s, ISO400, f/32, 120mm. I had dismantled and reassembled the lens 2 days back for yet another fungus removal. This is a shot taken after that. Humid Kerala weather is taking a toll on my old lenses. Looks like the lens just don't want to under-perform even with some fungus in it, I am loving its sharpness!!

Can I assume that you rotated the CPL ring and found the angle at which it have the maximum deep blue sky effect? I guess that's the only thing to do...

Moreover, the effect is maximized when you shoot skies when sun is at any of the sides with respect to your camera.

After watching movies like "Escape From Sobibor" & "The Boy in Striped Pyjamas", it is horrifying to see the pictures of such concentration camps - if you think about what used to happen to people whom the SS brought there. I'll surely get chills if I enter one of them for a tourist visit. Thanks for sharing.
