One more from my side to add to the list :

What would happen IF prohibition was implemented?

Smuggling of liquor from other states, bootlegging, etc. would take place and this would create more unnecessary issues to be dealt with.

Liquor that is smuggled would probably not be genuine (tampered with / doctored). Substance abuse would rise (drug abuse, abuse of medicines etc.)

I have a better (gross) suggestion. Tank up on beer and belch away to your hearts content on his face. The more the belchers, the merrier.

Okay that explains everything - the minister was visiting the nuthouse because he needed professional help.

Lets stop discussing this and allow the chap to sort out his issues in private.

EDIT: For non-Bangaloreans (sorry, Bengaloorites) NIMHANS = National Institute of Mental Health And Neurological Studies.

I beg to disagree.

Look at what has happened to the poor fellow in your avatar because of abstinence.
