Try Food 'n' I. It's the "flavour of the season" this side of town.

Where is this joint.?Would like to try it once.

Its in Madhapur on the 4th floor of the building that has Ratandeep super market. This building is 2 buildings before the MyHome Office opposite to NIFT campus. There are 3 restaurants on the same floor- one is a chinese restaurant, second is Lotus Palace and third is Food n I. i guess all three belong to the same management.

I had my Saturday's Lunch at 45 Jubilee Hills (SILVERWOOD +1)

The quality of this buffet has come down, they are serving only 1 N.Veg snack.

The tariff has been revised to 225+taxes.Sheer waste of money.

Total damages-542.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had my yesterday's dinner at Hotel Grand @Abids.(SILVERWOOD+4) and ordered the following.

Mutton Masala-Rs 80-Awesome is the word, almost boneless mutton pieces with thick gravy.
Egg Masala-Rs 40-The base of the gravy was as same as mentioned above.Great taste.
Mutton Biriyani-Rs 220 (2No's)-I had such a nice biriyani after some time, both the quantity and quality was perfect and the mutton was quite tender.
Tea-5 cups.

Total Damages-Rs 520 with Rs 40 as tips.

Great VFM restaurant, will visit this restaurant again on Wednesday for dinner.

Sarvi Bakery now has a take out beside its tea stall, opposite Care Hospital, Rd 1, Banjara Hills.

Biryani is priced at around 240 for the Family Pack.
Regular pack is 160 and Jumbo is around 300 something.

The phirni is Rs 30 and is very good.

Rest of the food tastes like Paradise.
The kebebs, rice, quantity etc is a copy of Paradise. :)

They have an offer running. Scratch card. I have 3 coke glasses. Since I like these glasses, I might go back there. :D

Hi.

About three years ago, someone took me to a restaurant near Durgam Cheruvu whose name I can't remember. It had a lot of greenery, some outdoor seating and the indoor part had a lot of glass walls. It was located in a large compound with steps leading from the parking lot to the restaurant. I remember having Italian food there and I think it also served Indian food.

Recently wanted to go back there and looked around the area but couldn't find it. Have lost touch with the person who took me there. Can anyone help identify this place?

By god, this thread is on FIRE!!!

Silverwood is leading from the front. Waseem bhai, was your new year resolution is to eat MORE??:D

You got the address, i hope. I wrote a detailed review of this place a few pages back. Their Dhai ke Kebab ( Veg) is the signature dish, rest of them are above average and place is quite expensive.

I think it was called "Something Fishy"... And yes, it shut shop sometime back. They startted loosing clients due to the sahdy crowd which started coming there... then it kinda drowned when the lake waters drowned it... Never opened after that

Nope, I dont think Straightdrive was referring to 'Something Fishy'. I think he was refering to "Tamara" ( Just recalled the name):)

Could have been Tamara. Not "Something Fishy" - that's easier to remember.

1, Tandoori Chicken-Rs 140, yummy, yummy and yummy.
2, Haryali Kebab-Rs 130-This was also good.
3, Daal fry-Rs 30-Now this was the star dish,perfect.
4, Rumaali and Tandoori roti-

Total damages-Rs 350.

Waseem, i am surprised you had dinner at Hotel Grand in Abids which is like a cafe and doesnt look too hygienic from outside.

There used to be days when we spent late nights there sipping on tea during exam time as my other home is walking distance from there. Btw, in those days this place was open 24 hours ( I think even now it is) and you can enter from lane behind that also leads to Ramkrishna Theatre

Yesterday night, had dinner in car parked outside Mohini's Restuarant in Basheerbagh

There is an old steward who knows my friend very well and he got Chicken 65 and Apollo Fish served in car. There was a chutney served along with the dish which was totally slurpy.

This guy goes into kitchen and gets it done specially. He will ask what you will eat (V or NV) and wont tell which dish he will get, kind of his surprise.

One of the tastiest starters that i had in a long time:thumbs up

I think the management has changed or something like that.

When i went there last week ,i was surprised to see few families having dinner.Like you, even i had the feeling that Hotel Grand is a mere cafe, not a restaurant. The cafe is open till 2am.

Btw-I had the one of the best Mutton Masala and egg Masala at Grand.

The biriyani was also above average.
