I love those cakes. In fact they are one of my favorite bakers in this city.

A very good cake baked by them.

re: A Guide: Eating out in Hyderabad/Secunderabad/Cyberabad

When I had my office in B.Hills, Deli 9 and Cafe de Art were on my regular lunch circuit. Though some of their stuff was good. Cakes and pastries was definitely not their strong suit. Extremely ordinary stuff but priced premium.

@ Waseem, Nikhil & Chetan (actually Mrs. Chetan), can one you arrange to have badam ki jaali made for us. We seem stuck with badaam ki jaali as the guys who brought up macaroons have now forsaken them :-(

I don't know but can only say Good Riddance as that restaurant had totally lost the plot.

Quality went out the window a long time ago. Premium pricing being mistaken for premium quality etc.

I need to open a dictionary and read the definition of "macaroon". I am blank as of now. Hope I can find time today to learn the meaning of this one word.

Your way of writing is inimitable and keeps me in splits all the time. Keep them coming. They are just the perfect appetizers for me to build up my appetite before I venture out for "Eating out in Hyderabad/Secunderabad".

I just visited Up to 95% discount on gadgets, travel, restaurants, spas, wellness, fitness - crazeal.com and found this awesome deal for breakfast at Bikanerwala. The deal should run out in a few hours from now:

Folks I am vegetarian. For many years I have been wanting to eat Veggie Haleem and so have not been to savour this dish. I know all you cannibals out there must be sniggering - but where is the best Veggie Haleem made in Hyderabad?

There is nothing called as Best Veggie Haleem . There are not many options for Veggie Haleem. It's sold only at Pista House and you can try your luck there. Before you plan it, I would love to say ATB* Krishnan

Sir....veggie haleem is nothing but a masala flavoured gooey daliya upma with dry fruits and floating in ghee. You can make it at home instead of wasting money on it.

Only PH serves Veg Haleem. Going by how his NonVeg Haleem has dipped in quality over the years. Expect Veg haleem to be even worse
