Have heard / read very positive and very negative reviews about Hello Curry. My close friend ordered from them and was thrilled about the whole experience. On the other hand you had a very bad experience. I have seen the way this guy Sandeep Varma interacts on various forums and he seems to be a genuine guy who is trying hard to make it work.

I would give him the benefit of doubt and ask you to try them one more time. I personally am going to order it as soon as possible once I finish my ayyappa deeksha on 19th.

Sounds like an interesting concept Ajay. Do they deliver to city folks like us?rl:

And, how can you miss on pricing? Please always share pricing info as that is the most useful input on this thread apart from ofcourse good/bad info ;)

If you meant 'Himayathnagar' rural constituency, I have my doubts. BUT they should be able to deliver to your office which is more closer to the 'City'.

I was stressed out with the excess salt in the curry ; so much so that I forgot what it cost.

Anyway I have flicked the Menu from Zomato for your convenience.

I am seeing new banners cropping up at each road side restaurant about this Paya Sherwa. What is it all about? I knew Paya, but not this Sherwa thing. Googled, it says its similar to Paya. But why then Paya Sherwa?
Any good places to have it in Kukatpally or surrounding areas?

Paya are the trotters. Sherwa or Shorba is nothing but the broth you drink/eat with Naan/Tandoori Roti. Paya/Zubaan/Jabdaa are the meaty accompaniments to the Sherwa/Shorba. Ideally, it is called as Paya, Zubaan or Jabdaa.

No one adds the keyword "Shorba" to form Paya Shorba or Zubaan Shorba or Jabdaa Shorbaa as it is understood that a Paya would mean a piece of Paya with Shorba. I would have laughed my guts out, if someone would have come to Old City and said "Ek Paya Shorba do" as Paya in itself means with Shorba. The situation might not be the same on the other side of the city and that is the only reason, I see them specifically mentioning Paya Sherwa/Paya Shorba.

Been to " Daspalla" for dinner a couple of days ago.

This is my third visit and each time, I had a decent experience in terms of the food quality

We ordered the following snacks :-

1. Cheese Omlettes
2. Achari Fish Tikka ( This was excellent)
3. Shammi Kebab ( Decent)
4. Chicken Drum Sticks

Dinner :-

Mutton Roganjosh accompanied by roti. Very good
Curd Rice. This was simply excellent though iam not a fan of curd rice

NV snacks/curries are priced 300 + bucks a plate so its a bit on expensive side.

With that high pricing and ridiculous delivery charge, I doubt if they will last even a couple of months :)

If someone is willing to pay a no-holds bar bill then i would choose the " Falaknuma Palace" for dinner without even blinking an eye:uncontrol

Yes, thats the place. Other great places to dine are as follows ( Not necessarily the most expensive places)

1. Jewels of Nizam ( Hotel Golconda)
2. Kebab-e-Bahar ( Taj Banjara)
3. Sahib Sind Sultan
4. Tansen
5. AB Grill ( Similar to BBQ Nation and is flavour of the season)

You have all other five star restuarants like Westin, Park, Avasa etc to enjoy a good meal in beautiful ambience

Last evening went out with some of my cousin who are in town from Boston so went to "Dadu's Jharoka"

We enjoyed these chats in chilly weather and I feel its perfect time to enjoy them . Apart from these we also enjoyed Paani Puri which is served in the most hygenic way via. Aquaguard type of dispensers for both Mint and Sweet Chutney :uncontrol( I think its ridiculous to eat paani puri like that)

Has anyone tried this?I am slightly wary of this as the person managing the fb profile refuses to give out a location from where they operate-why the secrecy?

I as a customer would definitely like to know the place and conditions of the place where the food I eat is cooked in however bad or good it is and tomrrow if something were to go wrong with the food served, who would be held accountable, especially since there is cooked food included in the menu-they could just disappear without any accountability!

Definitely not a good idea imho.
