Are you referring to their matka kulfi which is stored in their open freezer? Never tried that till now.

Also, What is Suleiman Chai? Is it a different name to Pauna? Have you ever heard of cutting chai?
Thanks a lot for the reference. Their Tea Lounge is in Tolochowki as per their website. Can you please tell me how to reach that place? May be I can visit them after a Biryani session at Four Seasons / Mandar!!

Any more pointers? What about the Ginger tea you have mentioned?

Raj,

The Finjaan lounge is opposite Moghal Apartments.
Its between the Tolichowki junction and Yusuf Tekri complex. Closer to the junction.
By junction I mean the place where there is a temple in the middle of the road.

Ginger is generally prepared in my house. Used to get it in some tea shops in Chennai. Not found it here.

Its simply prepared by adding a small piece of crushed ginger to the water. Then making tea in the usual way.

Sukku (dried ginger) is sometimes used for a more potent taste.

Its the de facto drink in the Middle East.
In ME, we like to add an i at the end to make suleimani - used to be my staple drink in office. Unless I was used to the colloquial usage of the word.

Hyd-Foodies, need some ideas.

Planning for a team lunch and need some good venues near Begumpet/Banjara Hills/Any area around Begumpet. We've been to Haveli, Tandoor, IndiJoe. So, need some good options. Budgets upto 300/- including taxes. Can move up till 325/- or 350/- at the max per head.

Try the sizzlers at Yoko's. If you use Ani's coupon i reckon you get a 15% discount on them. Or call Krishna their Maitre'd and he can give you a good discount offer if you tell them pax details.

Btw, Sha(g)house reminded me of the awesome haleem that me, straightdrive and ravvs had during last haleem season

The diners at B&C were just 3 of us. This halt at B&C was real VFM.
My wife and I had an excellent lunch there.
Its a perfect VFM place.

My wife chose a mocktail and they actually made it complimentary.
to such a customer friendly place.

The meal was really good.
Loved it.

Forgot to update the joints we've been to during the tbhp movie meet last friday.

Pre-Movie (1st Session) at Sitara ( Next to Big Cinemas) in Ameerpet
Ordered Chilly Prawns. Not a patch in front of Club 8 and damn expensive too

Post Movie ( 2nd Session) at Nimantran, Next to Begumpet Aiport

I always liked this place for its reasonably good food

Chicken 65
Pepper Chicken
Chicken Kadai
Kheema
Mutton Biryani

Entire food was very good and Mutton Biryani was one of the best that i had in recent times. Flavoursome long grained rice and melt in mouth type meat.

Btw, It was an expensive movie meet
