Hey Masin4, can you post a screen shot or a camera/mobile image of the email instead of as a file. I do not have Microsoft Excel on my laptop and so cannot open the file you have attached.

For all the Rajdhani fans, the place is closing operations from March 1 at Big Bazaar and is shifting to the Qmart building-Thank goodness for this! They are going to start ops in the place where Thai Express was initially.I just hope that the whole Big Bazaar mall gets scrapped-easily the lousiest building in Hyd and a sure shot fire trap with the creakiest of elevators.I for one am happy that Rajdhani is finally going to a better place. If nothing else better washrooms as opposed to the stinky Big Bazaar ones!

Quiznos is opening opposite Vacs in Karkhana in the same building as Mcdonalds. If they get their pricing right, they will do good business as there are no Subways in the entire vicinity and Vacs' prices are headed only in one direction!I happened to drop by the Vacs outlet in Jubilee Hills on the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank road, since wanted some coffee desperately.Lousy is the word and expensive ofcourse.3 coffees cost me 120 rs and was perfect for exactly 2 sips and the coldest ones i have ever had:(.

PS:

I did not understand the logic of the guy operating the espesso machine. He was wearing a pair of plastic gloves and operating the machine!!!Why was he wearing those escapes me till date.

Not to mention the absolutely horridly designed parking exit ramp. In general, Big Bazaar infests the hands-down seediest building(s) in town. I've seen that happen in other cities as well. I guess that's how they keep their costs down.

It's sad to hear of another joint going down the drain. So far I've only heard praise for Vac's. I hope I get a chance to try them out before they go completely bad.

Totally agree ! My visit to big bazaar is only for the car wash in the parking area.I like his detailing.

Good to know Rajdhani is coming up in the Q -Mart Building..(Though i am not a veggie but i am sure my wife and mum would love to eat there while i would dig into some non veg stuff from bread talk)

Food at Jolly Woods, on Vikarabad Highway was very good. Reposting some pictures of some snacks we relished here.

We plan to go back there again soon for its serene ambience and good food

re: A Guide: Eating out in Hyderabad/Secunderabad/Cyberabad

Take away @ Zurna last night:

Full tandoori chicken @ 180/-: Nice and tasty. Liked it.
Mutton roast @ 120/- : Decent. Reminded me of chicken roast of Narmada restaurant, Hyderguda
Chicken majestic @ 120/- : Good
Butter chicken @ 120/-: I did not taste it but my kids liked it.
Roti @ 8/-
Mutton biryani family pack @ 300/- : Thought they could have been little more liberal with the meat. Decent to taste, the standard Garden restaurant fare.

re: A Guide: Eating out in Hyderabad/Secunderabad/Cyberabad

Lunch @ Hyderabad Hotels, Hyderabadi Biryani, Hyderabad Food, Food of Hyderabad, Hyderabad Cuisine, Hotels in Hyderabad | THE GOLKONDA HOTEL

They had this Awadhi and Rampur special.
Price all inclusive per person is Rs 650.

The ambiance is very good and the service was super good.
We were waited upon by Biswajit and he made the good lunch, very special.

The food is a preset menu.

We had mutton soup accompanied with 4 different starters. Veg, Paneer, Chicken and meat. The galawati kebabs were awesome. The Paneer was bit of a let down. The veg and Chicken starters were also very good.

Two different types of extremely soft rotis with 4 curries. Veg, paneer, chicken and meat. The meat gravy was the awesome. The veg curry was cauliflower with fresh peas. Very well cooked and tasted nice.

2 types of mutton Biryani. Hyderabad and Kashmiri. No masala in the rice. My wife did not like it , but I love this style of biryani.

2 types of desert. Both were very good.

I loved the lunch. Everything worked very well together.

For all veggies who have not yet tried Ohri's de-thali. A must buy offer on snapdeal and priced just too right.

Food is really tasty and better than Rajdhani Thali. A must try for all veggies.

Go for it.

Ohri's have a big hygiene issue...I and relatives have found Cockroaches in the food not once but twice. And when u complaint to them, they are too rude and defensive...

re: A Guide: Eating out in Hyderabad/Secunderabad/Cyberabad

My friend, Kiran who owns Basil told me about the buffet spread Ohri's have put up at White House, Begumpet. Not the De-thaali which is fixed menu but he was talking about the way Ohris have presented the buffet. In his own words - ' After the Ohri's new buffet presentation when I came back to Basil I felt like I came to a gareeb khaana'

Sadly it is a veggie fare and I will not spend money on a veg buffet but for all you vegans, please do try it out. Supposed to be out of this world experience, esp the way the buffet is presented.

And with the opening of De-Thaali, my prediction has come true - The day Tandoor opened I predicted

Bhojanam -MLA Colony -Rd No 12 Banjara Hills

Wife and me had :-

- Meen Varavulu or something(Fried Fish)-Kerela dish
- Kara Gosht(Mutton) -Karnataka dish
-Malabar Parathas

Now maybe it was just not our day but we did not like the food here.

The place was empty (i asked the staff whether they are closed today)

Decor

Food was bland and non tasty .Fish was mixture of potato and fish deep fried.

Maybe i'll go there again and try not to experiment

Total INR 950 all inclusive.(I could have spend the same amount and relished food elsewhere)

The only thing which we managed to like was the complimentary papad and butter milk.

They do have a very bad reputation based on so many reviews on the net.

I cannot believe it, you still want to go again?

re: A Guide: Eating out in Hyderabad/Secunderabad/Cyberabad

Ohri's De Thali.

We were a group of 15.
Bought 7 vouchers from Rs. 49 for buy-1-get-1 offer on veg thali

The food was served in the same style as Rajdhani. Very high service levels and extremely friendly staff.

The plates however had some swivel marks. However they were clean and the marks were very dry. Could not be wiped away using the napkin.

The quality of food was good. Some of the dishes were very good. Especially the Sweet Daal and something that looked like a samosa with peas stuffing.

In taste, I personally prefer Rajdhani. But this is also very good.

The bill was for 8 Thalis due to the snapdeal voucher.
Including the VAT and Service Charge it came to 1511.

So total including the vouchers is 1854.

So per person (for a group of 15) was 123.6.

Complete Value For Money.
