Its a worthy try, place is not worth doe dine-in but you can park your car and try seating in car. Other chicken dishes are also yummy.
Thanks for the tip. Is that dhaba known as Rajinder Da Dhaba? I have been to a few restuarants in Rajouri Gardens like Punjabi by Nature, Privelege, Just Parathanas etc.

Will try this one out on Friday evening.

During non-haleem days, I like ONLY Green Park Hotel Haleem, its like a cleansed version of the haleem that you get during Ramzan. But, I really like it, its smooth, tasty and only downside is you dont get chunks of meat as the whole haleem is minced to a smooth perfection.

With regards to the Chinese Hotel in Chicago, I think it was Hot Wok. I loved the food there

Biryani? Dont ask me that because I will suggest only one place

P.S 1: From Dec 21-Dec 30, I survived on Phulkas, Egg Burgi, Egg Curry, Daal and Maggie in the mountains

P.S 2: Now that Iam back in Delhi. I am hunting down the best of food joints till I come back to Hyderabad. It's called getting your own back for P.S 1
You have of course tried the Murthal Parathas / Karims etc.
In Delhi I am yet to find really good Biryani, but recently some Tunday outlets have opened ( of Lucknow fame). I also find the parathewali gali overrated, but the rabri in jama masjid gali is a must have.
People talk of IIFT dhabas.
You can try out places like big chill etc. decent if a little expensive.

Also, Chola Bhatura of Sitaram Deewan chand at Paharganj is not to miss Item, There is a small dhaba In gaffar market, it is a 2 storied building in small lanes towards the right side just before you enter the gaffar market. His chicken was to yummy, Not sure how is the situation now as last time I had it there was around 4-5 years back. Also not to be missed is Roshan ki kulfi in karol bagh.

All the above said items have been done to death. Personally, I feel the Murthal Paranthas is a bit over-rated (I like them because they serve it with white butter instead of yellow like others). I had paranthas at a place called Shiva Dhaba enroute Nainital at Hapur Bypass, there were SUPER AWESOME...best i had till date...made in tandoor

Tunday, enjoyed many times in New Friends Colony Market but, they shut shop a few years ago. Never been to Lucknow to enjoy the authentic tunde kebabs

Yesterday was a culinary day with Chole Bathure, Kachori, Tikki, Dahi Balle and special falooda all from Chandni Chowk from Natraj to Gianni's at Fatehpur

Dinner was at revolving restuarant ( it moves quite fast) at 24th floor with an awesome view of connaught place. Place is Parikrama and quite pricey with snacks and curries starting at Rs.450

Tonight there is a mini-TBHP Delhi meet at Safdarjung Hospital ( Rajinder Da Dhaba)..Chinkara, if your interested, please join.

P.S: Sorry for going off-topic on a Hyderabad food thread. Lets continue only Hydeez eating joints discussions here.

I have had parathas at that place, I found it similar to Murthal.. in Murthal it depends on which shop.

Sorry won't be able to make it. Looking at a late night working today. To bring it on topic, Hyderabad has far better Biryani places than Delhi any day, even the much-disliked (here) Hyderabad House.

This outlet is called Nizam's. They sell Haleem throughout the year and it is either Chicken or Mutton, not beef.

Apart from this, they also sell Mutton Marag and Zabaan. I have reviewed these a few pages back. A good place overall.

re: A Guide: Eating out in Hyderabad/Secunderabad/Cyberabad

Thanks everyone for their suggestions. Been enjoying as much food as possible. Even though I've spent years of my life in Hyd, somehow I never ate at Paradise.. I did yesterday in Hitech and everything was great, no idea why I never had it before(other than take out/at home.. which didn't do it justice).

Had Dewaan Dhaba tonight after Runway 9 and was fantastic as always.

I will still be here on the 9th, so will see if I can join.

Foodie Updates!!

Labonel opens an outlet:
Labonel is opening an outlet in Gachibowli beside the flyover about 200 mts before Al-Saba Restaurant. They have put up the board saying Labonel Fine Baking, the interior work is going on.

Agra Sweets:
Agra sweets beside Ratandeep, White Fields is to be avoided like plague. Its absolute disaster, pricing nevertheless is premium. At 50 bucks for a chat they use white peas instead of the expected chickpeas which is a cheap cost cutting trick expected from road side bandis. Chaat is not put on tawa and I have least respect for chaats which are not prepared on hot tawa. Keshav Reddy few hundred meters ahead is the one to be visited on this road for Chaat and stuff.

Al Saba
Dined at Al Saba today. The quantity of Biriyani is absolutely humongous (compared to Paradise dine in). Biryani was spicy and perfectly cooked with meat falling off the bones. Couldn't finish it. Curries are also nice and spicy. A VFM place.
Any reviews about the Kulfi place just out side Al Saba? I was too full to try it out today.

I've read some positive things about Hotel Green Park on this thread. How is the hotel accommodation? TripAdvisor rates it quite highly. Nothing like a BHP-ian's word/review
