Not necessarily.
If its chicken and even if its been cut in the halal style a little blood will remain in some veins.
Usually in the thigh/ leg region.

I know this as I clean the chicken at home.

The preferred cut they use to make shawarma is the breast piece and the changes of blood being there in vein is very very low.

Had lunch today at Alhamdulillah. Sheer bliss. Tala hua gosht and seekh kebabs with roomali rotis and beef biryani. Absolutely delicious food. Cost Rs.210/- for 2 people.

Got a chicken biryani and a small portion of tala hua gosht parcel for dinner. Rs.150/- for the parcel.

Abviously, I would take the Chicken Shawarma as other option i dont eat ( beef). It was somewhere around 8pm i picked up from there and took my first bite at 9pm and behold, there it was....( i almost fainted)

And, thanks for that tip on Dinehill. Been there only twice. Reckon, wont go back again like i wont go back again to Garden.

Come on Andy, you think i dont know the difference between ketchup and blood?....There was a stink that turned my stomach inside out

Bottom Line : No more Shwarmas for me in Hyderabad ( atleast from those medhipatnam, toli chowki outlets)

AFAIK blood inside cooked meat means "meat has gone stale" !! Stale meat thickens veins which lock the blood which doesnt evaporate quickly if not properly cooked. I have had such experience with Chicken wings from Dominoes once in Chennai . Felt like a Cannibal for a minute

re: A Guide: Eating out in Hyderabad/Secunderabad/Cyberabad

Went to Chef Inam's, Road No.12 last night around 10.30. The place was deserted and there was just one waiter. Took lot of time to take our order and took ages to get the steaks to the table. While the steaks were good, I thought at Rs.350/- to 550/- each it is expensive and the service was very bad.

Just to help you keep that newly adopted resolution, there is always an outlet near Srinagar Colony, in Yousufguda - Kababish, which serves a decent chicken Shawarma. His turnover rate ensures that you wont be served stale chicken in the Shawarma - they run out of it by 9-9.30 pm. The blood in the Shawarma was a new one, even for me !

To give you a brief background of Kababish, Kababish was the first fast-fried-food eateries to be asked to close down their shutters all over the city after their major food poisoning fiasco a couple of years back. They had to down their shutters during the major festive season all over the city.

Hi everyone,

Need help from experts here, few of my Swedish colleagues would be in town soon, they like Indian food (medium spicy is fine), need suggestions on the places I can take them out, mostly dinners.

As well they have one weekend, any suggestions on a possible short weekend trip with good accommodation, food and stay?

Thanks in advance
