Urgent help needed from mumbai T BHPians

Hi T-BHPians,

I need some urgent help from the mumbai T BHPians. My dad has recently been diagonsed with colon cancer early stage. He has come down to bombay and is currently consulting at TMH, I have also come down to bombay from bangalore. Now I need some details regarding Dr Jagannath (who treated the BIg B). Details as in where can we consult him, like as of now am not sure where he consults,in lilavati or hinduja?

Any kind of inputs are highly welcomed as am completely new to this place. As for cancer I think everyone dares by that name, so if nyone has got any opinions regarding doctors, they are most welcome as well.

Waiting for fast replies.

Thanks

Nope, Dr. Jaganath doesn't visit the Hinduja. You would need to go and see him at Lilavati. Call on 32659895 to fix up an appointment.

Do drop a PM if you need any help in Mumbai. And I am sure your Father will be fighting fit soon.

@adhiraj: There is another thread going on about cancer treatment (but in Delhi) on this forum. Please do search for it and go through it to get some moral support and guidance.

Cancer detected at early stages is definitely curable. I know another person (aged 78-80), who was detected with prostrate cancer and the so-called expert docs gave him 6 months to live despite treatment. It's been 10 years and he is as hale and hearty as a normal person could be. He even regularly goes to office!
