Special Drag Track

Hey all fellow BHPian
how we all would wish a special drag track built just for drags and testing speed limits

with complete stands for spectators on either side throughout on either sides

make an entry fee of 200Rs

What say guys

definitely plenty of place available in bangalore to build one

what say we ask vijay mallya to build one for bangalore
let it be the first of its kind in INDIA

now that Narain is into F1
the big money guys will realise the potential of racing in INDIA
and they might answer our prayers soon

Vijay mallya sponsors the tarmac
Nandan nilekeni sponsors the Right stand
Asim PREMJI sponsors the left stand
Ratan TATA sponsors the security

how i wish INDIA had salt beds or dried up lakes like in the US of A
we could see land speed records and a whole set of awesome racing

it might just work not on a large scale as in the US but on a small scale like for example for starters, a small drag strip then stands and so on ...

Hold your horses, pal. The drag racing scene in India is probably just three Speedruns old. They have a long way to come from blaring exhausts and shame-a-DTM rear wings, atleast the majority of them anyway. Though there are quite a few people out there who do deserve a stand-alone drag strip, not the look-I-have-my-hazards-flashing buggers anyway.
