Looks like it's stuffed with onions and tomatoes or are they side dishes/accompaniments?

Ok, I'm on my desktop and hope this works!

@Kutlee - yes it's close to the temple, and if you know your way around then you'll have to go all the way up to the Old resort by the temple Pool and take a right from there. (Chandra Pilla's is a Shack not some 3star fish joint) If 20 of us turn up we wont have enough room.

@ Esteem Lover you bet it not expensive, eat all you want till you think you have GILLS and it'll cost Max Rs300 prehead

@Heman - let us know when you make plans and we'll help you EAT.

@jraj - no way man, Karimeen at the widest point is 8-9 inches, the fish in the Pic is 1ft Long and 5" wide - It's King fish

@Ashvin- I hope they have enough for you (saw update of your Onam getogether) LOL

@Amit - Yes its yummy and you can eat all you want, coz you dont order for a piece you buy the WHOLE FISH!!

@Jkdas - what's the Name of the Bakery JN one

guys jus a reminder
NO Board to Tell you THIS IS THE PLACE!
It's a Shack that has about 5 Benches
Bring a Driver along so you dont have to drive back which is why I hung out to take some pics at the waterfront.
Oh BTW It's Quilon and not Qulion (my mistake) :-)
Enjoy!

Old thread, but did not want to open a new one.

Was at Kollam (Quilon) last weekend and we were invited to a Birthday party at a resort there called JalaDarshini. This is just before the Thevally bridge. The view is really good (backwaters all around) + lots of space to set up seating according to your group and comfort. While it does not have a bar or permit to serve liquor, almost all the tables had liquor being consumed - it seems you can bring liquor from outside.

Felt that this would make a nice venue for Kollam tbhp-ians (don't know how many there are) to have a tbhp meet.

Kollam TBHPIANS. Interesting:P

There is a restaurant which is famous for sea food near Bakery Junction, Trivandrum. They have take-away counter too.

Never knew of it, what is its name? But Sagar @ Vazhthacaud is known to me for nearly a decade. Not so good and it has space only like a small cabin.

Sagar moved to a bigger/cleaner place now.

Donno its name. Its on the one-way you take from Armed Reserve Police road(Nandanam), on the right side, almost opp to BEVCO , where the road meets the main road.

Not sure if you guys know of a similar place in palakkad town. On the Thrissur bypass road, next to malabar hospitals there is a small single lane road. Take that road. It joins a main road after some 500m. Take right (or rather continue straight), 100m down the main road on the left side there is a small mess. The place is below the road level sort of. You get amazing fish, prawns and crabs there. Not very cheap but amazing food nevertheless.
