Some Maharashtrians (and quite a lot of other Hindu cultures) also practice this daily rangoli with white powder (called 'charothi' in gujarati). It's considered a welcome sign for Goddess Lakshmi.

Nice thread Sam. What you said about life(The trick, I think is to enjoy the perfect parts of your relationship) is what everyone needs to understand and live happily instead of worrying about everything and nothing.
I've been reading all day(your other threads), I guess I need to take a break now and have some food before I get back to reading. Man, I'm addicted.

It was emotional to follow this whole thread. And maybe no other thread deserves more special attention this diwali.

Maybe some diwali special messages to revive the spirit of this occasion in loving memory of Sam?

Re: YetiBlog® - Love, massage and fireworks - A Diwali story

"Till today, my Father and I light those diyas during Diwali in her memory."

This is excerpt from Post 6 of this thread, wher Sam wrote that they light diya in the memory of his mother.

I humbly request all BHpians to light a diya in the memory of Sam YETI Kapasi this year.

May you all have a very happy & prosperous DIWALI.

Raab rakha,
Sonu
