The TP-Link one could be used as repeater but it has already been picked up by another BHPian.
DLink DSL-224 doesn't support repeater function unfortunately.

Not sure if this thread can be used for discussion, just trying to help a fellow member otherwise. Mods please excuse if this violates the rule.

ADSL routers like DLink DSL-224 can also be used as repeater, would just need a firmware upgrade. I am using my ADSL (D-Link 2750U) as repeater. I can search around and help if someone need support. No harm in trying.

My research indicates that DSL-224 doesn't support Openwrt and hence can't be used as a repeater. If you can find a method to overcome this, please share.

Giving away this CB Radio: it can only receive signals and not able to transmit. A powerful 10/11M transmitter with 60 W RF output was good to cover entire Bangalore. Cannot get it repaired here though I assume a Ham operator or an enthusiast will be able to get it back to work. I was informed the Mosfet needs to be replaced, about four of them.
