Need help evaluating property in 1996.

I need to find the values of some property in bombay and gujarat from 1996. What are some reliable sources to do that? Thanks.

Talk to registration office in those areas.

Get the table for valuation of property deals in 1996. Get current market rates and current valuation table.

Apply the ration between current market rates and valuation table to 1996 values and you will get market rate.

Or pay nominal fees to registered valuer in that area that has been working for 15 - 20 years. Those guys have historical rates for properties.

Are you aware of any registered valuer in mumbai?

No, don't know anyone in person.

But a query in justdial.com turns up quite a few entries on most areas of mumbai.
